what is hakini yoga?

Hakini Yoga is a path of awakened perception.

It is a practice of learning to see clearly, not only with the thinking mind but through the awakened heart.

Rooted in Tantric wisdom and resonant with the Magdalene stream of feminine gnosis, Hakini Yoga explores how insight becomes wisdom when perception is guided by love, presence and embodied awareness.

In the Tantric map of consciousness, Hakini is the subtle yogini who presides over the Ajna chakra, the centre of inner vision and direct knowing. She represents the luminous intelligence that arises when duality softens and awareness becomes clear. Not intuition as guesswork, but perception refined through presence. But insight alone is not enough and without the heart, vision can become distant, detached, abstract.

Hakini Yoga therefore honours the sacred relationship between the brow and the heart, between seeing and feeling, insight and compassion, clarity and connection.

The heart chakra, Anahata, is the field of relational awareness. It is where experience becomes meaningful, where presence becomes devotion, where perception becomes human. When heart and vision align, knowing is no longer clever, it becomes wise.

This union forms the living axis of the practice:

Love → Insight → Truth

Heart → Vision → Understanding

Here, revelation is not extracted through effort, it’s received through attunement.

This way of knowing echoes across many wisdom traditions. In the mystical teachings associated with Mary Magdalene, true sight arises not through doctrine or authority, but through inner communion, what might be called seeing with the eye of the heart.

Hakini Yoga lives at this meeting point. It is both Tantric and contemplative. Embodied and subtle. Devotional and discerning.

A practice where meditation refines perception, where breath anchors awareness in the body. Where movement becomes a language of integration and where myth and symbol illuminate inner experience.

Less performance.
More presence.

This is not yoga as self-optimization, it’s yoga as sacred participation in reality.

Hakini Yoga belongs to a feminine wisdom stream that values lived insight over inherited belief. A current where experience transforms into understanding and understanding softens into compassion.

It is a path for those drawn to:

  • subtle awareness and meditative depth

  • heart-led intelligence

  • mythic and symbolic ways of knowing

  • the integration of intellect and intuition

  • embodied spiritual practice

Mystical, yet grounded - Esoteric, yet deeply human.

Hakini Yoga is not a brand or a method to master, it’s an orientation toward reality. A remembering of how to perceive through wholeness.

A return to the inner seer.
